We are sure that you are following the ever-evolving developments of the COVID-19 pandemic as closely as we are. Taking care of our team and their families health and wellbeing is of the utmost importance.

As we continue to navigate through the uncertainty of the novel Coronavirus, our priority is to protect the health of our employees, customers and partners while minimising business disruption as much as possible.

In addition to the strict hygiene measures, social distancing and international travel bans that are currently in place. We have imposed the following additional measures intended to ensure the safety of our colleagues on the one hand and the maintenance of our operations on the other. These include the following actions:

  • Elliotts team members will only hold essential face-to-face meetings with suppliers where requested to do so. All other meetings will be by phone or video conference.
  • In line with recent State Border closures, National travel is now prohibited with immediate effect and until further notice.
  • All inter-company meetings will be switched to web-based or telephone contact.
  • We have established IT systems to enable all of our staff to work remotely or in a quarantined environment.
  • For all employees in our warehouse and production departments who cannot work from home, we have quarantined each department and implemented strict engagement processes.

These measures take account of the seriousness of the situation, but at the same time maintain our operations. With the measures taken so far, there are no impacts to Customer Service, Warehouse and Production Operations. We are also working closely with our supply chain and will advise if we anticipate any disruptions.

So at Elliotts, it is very much business as usual. Our Regional Managers and Customer Service Team remain at your disposal and all efforts will be focused on minimising any disruptions to your businesses wherever possible.

We will continue to pay attention and follow guidelines from the Australian Government and State governments on how we best manage the national team.

Should you require any further information and or clarification, please do not hesitate to contact me directly.

Take Care,
