HIGH-QUALITY MATERIALS USED IN ELLIOTTS WELDING DRAPES & BLANKETS
HeatShield
HeatShield is manufactured from E Glass fibre which is a non-combustible, flexible, inorganic material that has been specifically designed to provide retention of heat. HeatShield has a service temperature of 500ºC with a 100% duty cycle providing a wide scope, fulfilling most applications.
Specifications:
- Continuous working temperature 550ºC
- Thickness 2.0 MM
- Weight 1150 gsm
T1000
T1000 is also manufactured from E Glass Fibre which is a non-combustible, flexible, inorganic material that has been treated to withstand higher temperatures than HeatShield. T1000 has been developed to provide a blanket fabric that will be unaffected by a surface temperature of 800ºC continuously.
Specifications:
- Continuous working temperature 800ºC
- Thickness 2.0 MM
- Weight 1150 gsm
NeoWeld XB
NeoWeld is Elliotts' most popular fabric used in welding drapes. NeoWeld is an E Glass Fabric coated in a flame retarded neoprene which provides a slick surface to enable the weld spatter and dross to cascade away.
Specifications:
- Continuous working temperature 105ºC
- Thickness 0.6 MM
- Weight 1000 gsm
Silica Glass
A SilcaGlass drape can be confidently used for the protection of sensitive areas. A premium product with a silica content of 96%, producing a crystalline crust when exposed to a neutral oxy-acetylene flame as used in the auto repair industry.
Specifications:
- Continuous working temperature 1000ºC
- Thickness 1.2 MM
- Weight 1000 gsm
